I developed applications used by the Marine Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom, including the Help Desk System, Link Monitor, Marine Electronic Log Book, Router & Switch Scripter, and Recruit Management Tool.
These tools supported daily operations and improved efficiency for Marines in Al Asad and other bases in Iraq.
As chief firewall administrator in Al Asad, Iraq, I worked on network security for the Marine Corps base, combining hands-on administration with the discipline of an operational environment.
My work included CyberGuard firewalls, network equipment, web filtering, and intrusion prevention systems.
Recognition
Two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals recognized my contributions in software engineering and firewall leadership.
Recognized for creating the Marine Electronic Log Book, Link Monitor, and Help Desk System, improving efficiency in Al Asad and other Marine Corps bases in Iraq.
Recognized for leadership and performance as a DSID firewall Site Chief in Al Asad, Iraq, during 2005.
